Displayed is a blueprint of a basketball goal design, submitted for patenting purposes on August 27, 1941, and patented on November 28, 1944. Three figures illustrate different views and components of the basketball hoop, including the net, rim, and backboard. The patent is credited to inventors Frank L. Albach and George R. Chervenka, as noted by the signatures at the bottom of the sheet.
