I did a digital painting of San Diego Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers as part of my first series for the 2014 NFL season. Philip Rivers is my favorite player currently on my favorite team and I believe that he will be the guy finally lead us back to o the Super Bowl.
This piece was a lot of fun as I used the wet brush tool to paint Philip. For the background I tried something different this time. I use the airbrush tool and I think it really gave that nice "blurred out" effect that you get from camera photos of games.
I hope people enjoy this piece as much as I did creating it.
