Our green panther graduation mascot is a big cat with melanistic (or black) coloring. Black panthers became very popular after the debut of the superhero and subsequent movie. Our graduation black panther mascot became popular when receiving a diploma and earning that degree! If you would like a graduation panther that is another color, please let us know.
Many schools and colleges, and sports teams use the panther as their mascot, including SUNY Old Westbury, Plymouth State, Palm Beach State, Ohio University Eastern (OUE) and Philander Smith. Go Panthers!
