Our green black panther football mascot is a big cat who is ready to take the football into the red zone! This panther has melanistic (or black) coloring which has been confirmed in both leopards (about 11% of the population) and jaguars (about 6% of the population in South America). If you would like a non black panther, just let us know!
Many schools and colleges have a panther as their mascot, including SUNY Old Westbury, Plymouth State, Philander Smith, Palm Beach State and Ohio University Eastern (OUE).
