Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….
"The Flying Deuces" is a classic comedy film released in 1939, starring the iconic comedy duo of Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy, often referred to as "Laurel and Hardy." The film was directed by A. Edward Sutherland and produced by Boris Morros. It is one of the many films in which Laurel and Hardy showcased their unique brand of slapstick humor and physical comedy.
The plot of "The Flying Deuces" revolves around Stan and Ollie as they play characters named Stan and Oliver, respectively. The story begins with the two of them as members of the Foreign Legion in France. They are deeply in love with a local innkeeper's daughter, Georgette, played by Jean Parker. However, when Georgette rejects Oliver's marriage proposal, he becomes despondent and decides to end his life.
Stan, always loyal to his friend, tries to help Oliver by suggesting that they join the Foreign Legion together, believing that this will somehow solve their problems. Once they join, they find themselves in a...
